You can use Claude with Google Workspace together with your social accounts by adding Creator OS as a hosted MCP server in Claude. Claude keeps working as the model, Google Docs, Sheets and Slides stay your workspace, and Creator OS at mcp.creatoros.ca/mcp gives the agent your real posts, analytics and ads. Nothing to install beyond the connector.

Claude is not wired into Google Workspace out of the box, so the connection comes from the connectors you add yourself.
Claude is Anthropic’s model, and it works with any MCP-capable app. Google Workspace is where many creators already write, calculate and present. Nothing in the Google apps knows about your social accounts until you give Claude a way to reach them.
That way is the hosted MCP server Creator OS runs at https://mcp.creatoros.ca/mcp. Nothing to install. You add it as a custom connector in Claude under Settings, Connectors, then sign in to Creator OS and pick the workspace. Agency plans connect one client per connection, and each connection gets its own key listed under Settings, Connected apps.
Once connected, Claude can call roughly 160 tools that cover posts, analytics, comments, DMs, automations, webhooks, Skool, Reddit, Discord, WhatsApp, broadcasts, Slack, Shopify, the blog, trackable links, skills and the Ads add-on. You can choose a read only connection, and the API refuses writes from it.
Creator OS also publishes an open-source agent harness, Social Agents, that runs your socials on Creator OS. You can watch the launch video on the KevBuildsApps YouTube channel to see how the pieces fit together.
How to Connect Claude to Google Docs, Sheets and Slides
The setup is four fields and a sign in: a connector URL, your Creator OS account, a workspace and a permission level.
- Open Claude, go to Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
- Paste
https://mcp.creatoros.ca/mcp. - Sign in to Creator OS and choose the workspace you want this connection to touch. If you run an agency, one connection per client keeps data separate.
- Pick read only or read & write. Read only is enough for Sheets reporting.
- Confirm the connection appears under Settings, Connected apps.
If you live in the terminal, the Claude Code route is one line:
claude mcp add --transport http creatoros \
https://mcp.creatoros.ca/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer cos_live_..."
Cursor, Windsurf and VS Code use an mcpServers entry with type http, the same URL, and the same Authorization header. The full detail sits in the MCP docs.
What Claude cannot do is type into your open Google Doc. It works through the tools you connect, so treat the Google app as your workspace and Claude as the colleague you call with a specific job.
Drafting and Editing Social Copy in Google Docs With Claude
A doc full of half-finished captions runs cleanly through two tools: check_caption_length for limits and create_post or update_post once you are happy.
Here is a workflow that saves real time. You keep one Google Doc per campaign. Each caption sits under a heading with the platform name. You paste the whole doc into Claude and ask it to check every caption against the platform rules and flag the ones over the limit.
Claude calls check_caption_length per block. Instagram captions have no clickable links, so the fix is a first comment, and the tool tells you when a caption is the wrong shape for the network. TikTok descriptions allow up to 4,000 characters. Threads allows 500 per post and 250 posts per 24 hours.
A useful prompt to keep:
Here is my caption doc. For each caption: check the length
limit on its platform, rewrite anything that breaks the rule,
and suggest where a link should move to a first comment.
When the copy is approved, the same Claude session can schedule it:
creatoros posts:create --text "The one habit that fixed my
morning uploads" --platforms instagram,tiktok \
--scheduledAt 2026-03-04T09:00:00Z --timezone America/Toronto
Creator OS applies each platform’s rules, including Reels and Shorts handling and TikTok consent flags. Drafts stay drafts until you say otherwise. For a deeper walkthrough of the scheduling side, read schedule Instagram posts with Claude.
Analyzing Ad and Post Performance in Google Sheets With Claude Skills
Pull the numbers into Sheets once, then let a saved skill rebuild the table every Monday.
The tools you want are get_post_analytics, get_daily_metrics, get_follower_stats and get_best_time_to_post. Ask Claude to pull the last 28 days for one platform and write it as rows you can paste into a sheet. Ask for percent change against the prior period in the same breath.
Short links carry their own clicks. Create one with links_create and read it with links_stats when you want to know which link in a caption actually earned clicks.
| Sheet tab | Source tool | What you read |
|---|---|---|
| Daily reach | get_daily_metrics |
Account level trend per platform |
| Post table | get_post_analytics |
Per post engagement, sorted by date or engagement |
| Audience | get_follower_stats |
Follower movement daily, weekly or monthly |
| Timing | get_best_time_to_post |
When each platform is worth posting |
| Links | links_stats |
Clicks per trackable short link |
The CLI mirrors this if you don’t have Claude open:
creatoros analytics:posts --from 2026-02-01 \
--to 2026-02-28 --platform instagram --sortBy engagement
Building Client-Ready Decks in Google Slides With Claude
Slides is where an agent earns its keep, because the deck has to hold the same numbers you already trust in Sheets.
The pattern: Claude reads your monthly analytics, then writes slide text you paste into Slides. Build the deck once by hand, keep one slide per section, and ask Claude for copy that fits the placeholders. It will not design slides for you, but it will assemble the story from real data instead of guesses.
For agency work, the workspace split matters. Agency 5 gives five sets of socials across 11 platforms plus Skool for $49.99/month or $399/year. Agency 10 gives ten sets for $99/month or $599/year. Each client workspace has a scoped API key, so a deck for client A never pulls client B’s numbers.
A prompt that produces usable slide copy:
Pull Instagram and TikTok performance for February. Write
five slides: headline result, reach trend, top three posts,
what changed, and next month's plan. Give me plain sentences
I can drop into Slides, one per bullet, no jargon.
For a full repurposing workflow behind the deck, see repurpose YouTube videos into Shorts without Claude.
Connect Google Ads to Claude for Reporting Without Leaving Sheets
Google Ads reporting through Claude needs the Ads add-on, which is $19.99/month on any plan with no percentage of ad spend.
Connect it once:
creatoros ads:connect google
Then the reporting tools behave like any other. ads:overview gives the flat picture across networks, ads:campaigns filters by status and date, and ads:campaign-analytics reads one campaign in depth. Ask Claude for a table you can paste into Sheets next to your organic numbers, and the comparison writes itself.
Budgets matter when reporting turns into action. Every create can be dry-run, budgets are confirmed, and ads are created paused for review. Budgets are whole units of the ad account currency. Google allows about 15 live calls a minute.
The campaign builder skills named meta-campaign-builder, google-campaign-builder, tiktok-campaign-builder and linkedin-campaign-builder also arrive as MCP prompts, so they show up in the prompt menu of your AI app. For the launch and reporting loop on that network, read the Google Ads MCP guide and the keyword research with Claude guide.
Claude Reference: Prompts to Save as Claude Skills for Each App
A skill turns a prompt you keep retyping into one you invoke by name, and the skills are Claude Code skills that call Creator OS tools.
Installing the CLI skills is one command: npx @creatoros/cli@latest init. That installs 14 Claude Code skills including post-everywhere, schedule-posts, respond-to-comments, analytics, ads, skool and blog. Later, creatoros sync updates them without overwriting your edits, saving changes as .new files.
| Google app | Skill name | What it does for you |
|---|---|---|
| Docs | post-shortform | Rewrites a caption per platform and checks limits |
| Docs | respond-to-comments | Drafts replies to new comments in your brand voice |
| Sheets | analytics | Pulls post and daily metrics into a clean table |
| Sheets | ads | Reads spend and results, proposes budget changes |
| Slides | blog | Turns a performance summary into article-ready prose |
For the Google Ads side, keep the campaign builder skills close. They are pulled by creatoros sync from the skills the Creator OS API publishes, currently the Meta, Google, TikTok and LinkedIn campaign builders.
If you want to see the whole agent loop in motion, the open-source Social Agents harness runs your socials on Creator OS. Start with npm start creatoros social-agents. It interviews you about your brand, then posts, replies to comments and DMs, runs automations and reports, with a local dashboard. You bring your own model. The launch video shows the shape of it.
FAQ
Is Claude connected to Google Workspace?
Not automatically. You add Claude’s connections yourself, and Creator OS provides a hosted MCP server at https://mcp.creatoros.ca/mcp that you paste in as a custom connector in Claude. After you sign in and choose a workspace, Claude can work with your real posts, comments and analytics while you keep writing in Google apps.
Can Claude edit Google Docs directly?
Claude works through the tools you connect, not by typing into your open document. The practical pattern is to paste doc content into Claude, have it check captions with check_caption_length and rewrite anything over a platform limit, then paste the result back. When the copy is final, the same session can schedule it through Creator OS.
How do I connect Google Ads to Claude?
Add the Ads add-on to any Creator OS plan at $19.99/month, then run creatoros ads:connect google. Ad spend is billed by Google to your own ad account, and reporting tools like ads:overview and ads:campaign-analytics become available to Claude straight away.
What are Claude skills and can I reuse them across Docs and Sheets?
A skill is a saved prompt plus the tools it needs, invoked by name. Yes, you can reuse one across apps. The analytics skill works whether you are building a Sheets table or pulling numbers into a Slides narrative, because the underlying Creator OS tools are the same everywhere.
Does Claude work inside Google Slides for client decks?
Claude assembles the content and you place it in Slides. It pulls real performance data with tools like get_post_analytics and writes slide-ready sentences, which keeps a client deck honest. On agency plans each client workspace has its own scoped key, so decks stay separated.
