Claude Code plugin

One install puts all of Creator OS inside Claude Code: the MCP server, the campaign builder and Agent Posts skills, and a mod that adds a live pane, instant commands and a confirmation before anything is published, spent or deleted. The mod needs Claude Code 2.1.287 or later, in the terminal or the Code tab of the Claude desktop app.

Install

In a Claude Code session:

$ /plugin marketplace add kevinbadi/creatoros-claude-plugin /plugin install creatoros@creatoros /plugin configure creatoros@creatorosCopy

The last step asks for your API key (cos_live_...) from Settings → API keys. It is kept in your system's secure storage and used for both the MCP server and the mod. A key is pinned to one workspace, so agency plans install with the key of the client they want to work on. Run /plugin to check: it should say 1 mod active · creatoros.

The publish guard

When Claude is about to publish or schedule a post, send a DM, create or boost an ad, change a budget, or delete something, the call is held and you get a question that sums it up: the networks, the start of the caption, the schedule time, and for ads the budget and dates. It also tells you when an ad was not checked with validate_only first. Cancel refuses the call and Claude is told. Proceed hands it to Claude Code's normal permissions. Drafts and validate_only checks are never held.

What the mod can and can't do

The mod only reads from the Creator OS API with your key. It never approves a tool call for you, never sends a prompt on your behalf, and never reads your environment variables or settings files. To see every event it handles and every call it makes before you install, clone the plugin repository and run claude plugin validate ./creatoros.

With a read-only key the plugin shows “read-only key” and refuses writes up front. In claude -p, the VS Code chat panel and cloud sessions nothing is drawn: the commands answer as text instead.

Update or remove

$ claude plugin update creatoros@creatoros claude plugin uninstall creatoros@creatorosCopy

Only want the tools, without the pane and commands? Add the MCP server on its own.
