Threads rewards people who post several times a day, every day. Nobody can do that live. A Threads scheduler lets you write a week of posts in one sitting and have them go out on time. With Creator OS you can schedule single posts and full multi-post threads from Claude, the CLI or the API, with a topic tag and a first reply on each. Schedules run on Creator OS servers, so nothing needs to stay open.

Monday: "which posts got the most replies?" --> next weekSchedule from Claude
With the Threads MCP server connected:
- “Write 21 Threads posts for next week about [topic], each with a specific result or number. Schedule 3 a day at 9am, 1pm and 7pm Eastern, topic tag ‘AI tools’.”
- “Turn this blog post into a 5-post thread and schedule it Wednesday at 1pm. Put the link in a first reply.”
- “Show me next week’s Threads schedule as a table.”
- “Move Thursday’s 7pm post to Friday.”
Always ask for the table first, read it, then approve. It takes two minutes and catches the one post you’d regret.
Schedule from the CLI
creatoros posts:create --platforms threads \
--text "I let Claude run my socials for 30 days. Here's what changed." \
--scheduledAt 2026-10-14T09:00:00 --timezone America/New_York
# a whole week from a file
creatoros posts:bulk-upload --file threads-week-42.json --dryRun
Multi-post threads
A thread is a sequence: the first post is the root, each next post replies to the one before. In the API that’s threadItems. The same field posts threads on X, so one schedule can put the same thread on both. See the X MCP guide.
A cadence that works
From running daily Threads accounts:
- 2 to 4 posts a day spread across the day, not batched.
- Believable specifics. A concrete before-and-after beats a big claim.
- Stakes and choices (“which would you pick?”) pull replies.
- Reply to replies fast. Schedule the posts, then ask Claude twice a day to answer new replies.
- Review weekly. Keep the formats that got replies, drop the rest.
Limits
- 500 characters per post.
- 250 posts per account per 24 hours (first replies count).
- One topic tag per post, 1 to 50 characters, no periods or ampersands.
Cross-posting
The posts that do well on Threads often work on X and LinkedIn with small edits. Ask Claude to adapt each post per platform and schedule all three. See posting to every platform from Claude.
