LinkedIn Ads MCP: Launch LinkedIn Sponsored Posts From Claude

Run LinkedIn ads from Claude or ChatGPT: sponsored posts from your Company Page, B2B targeting, Lead Gen Forms, suggested bids and paused-by-default launches.

LinkedIn Campaign Manager is powerful and painfully slow to click through. A LinkedIn Ads MCP lets Claude or ChatGPT do it with you: pick the Company Page, choose the objective, target by industry, seniority, job function and company size, check the audience size and LinkedIn’s suggested bid, attach a Lead Gen Form, and launch the campaign paused for your review. Creator OS includes it in the Ads add-on, with a step-by-step campaign builder skill.

  Account + Page -> Objective -> Audience -> Budget + bid
-> Ad (image or video) -> Check -> YOUR YES -> Launch (paused)

The linkedin-campaign-builder flow

What you can do

  • Sponsored posts from your Company Page, with a single image or a video. (The ad runs as the Page but doesn’t appear on the Page’s feed.)
  • Objectives: website traffic, lead generation (LinkedIn’s prefilled forms), engagement, awareness, video views and job applicants.
  • B2B targeting: industries, seniorities, job functions, company sizes and locations, with the audience size before you spend.
  • Budget and bid: LinkedIn’s suggested bid and budget range, so you don’t guess.
  • Lead Gen Forms: attach a form and read the leads afterwards.
  • Manage: pause, resume and change budgets; read spend and results next to your other networks.

Setup

  1. Create a Creator OS account and connect LinkedIn (with the Company Page you admin).
  2. Turn on the Ads add-on ($19.99/month, no percentage of spend) and connect LinkedIn ads, usually without a second login.
  3. Add https://mcp.creatoros.ca/mcp to Claude or ChatGPT. Your agent can load the linkedin-campaign-builder skill through skills_get.

You need to be an Administrator or Sponsored Content Poster on the Page, and the Page must be linked to the ad account.

Prompts

  • “Launch a LinkedIn lead gen campaign for our agency offer: marketing directors and VPs at companies with 50 to 500 employees in Canada and the US. Show me the audience size and suggested bid first. Create it paused.”
  • “Use this video and send traffic to creatoros.ca/claude, $50 a day for 7 days.”
  • “Pull this week’s LinkedIn leads into a table.”
  • “How did LinkedIn compare with Meta on cost per lead this month?”

Money rules built in

  • The agent shows the full plan and waits for an explicit yes.
  • Campaigns are created paused so you can look before anything spends.
  • LinkedIn has no native dry run. Creator OS runs its own check first (goal, creative, targeting rules, minimum budget), and LinkedIn still reviews every ad, usually within a day.
  • LinkedIn’s minimum is 10 a day (100 for a lifetime budget) in your ad account currency.
  • Read-only connections only see reporting.

Tracking that works

Add UTM parameters to the landing link (utm_source=linkedin&utm_medium=paid) so signups show up by source in your analytics, or use a trackable short link per campaign.

Organic first, then paid

Post organically from Claude with the LinkedIn MCP server, see which posts land, then sponsor the proven message. Same connector, same chat.

Also in the add-on

Meta, Google, TikTok Spark Ads, X and ChatGPT ads.
