LinkedIn MCP Server: Post to Your Profile and Company Page From Claude

Connect a LinkedIn MCP server to Claude or ChatGPT and publish to your profile or company page: text, images, video, polls, reposts, first comments and analytics.

Creator OS · October 3, 2026 · 3 min read

A LinkedIn MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Cursor publish to LinkedIn for you, on your personal profile or on a company page you manage. Creator OS runs a hosted one: write a post with Claude, then tell it to publish, schedule it for Tuesday morning, attach an image or video, or start a poll. It also answers comments and reports what worked.

Why LinkedIn needs a real integration

LinkedIn’s API is gated. Posting needs an approved app with the right products enabled, company pages need a separate permission set, and images and videos each go through their own upload flow. Many “LinkedIn MCP” projects work by driving the website with your session cookie, which goes against LinkedIn’s terms and can get accounts restricted. Creator OS uses the official API, and the MCP server wraps it.

What you can post

  • Text posts, with or without a link preview (disableLinkPreview hides the card).
  • Images and video.
  • Polls: a question up to 140 characters, 2 to 4 options of up to 30 characters, and a duration.
  • Reposts of another post with reshareUrl.
  • A first comment with firstComment. Many LinkedIn creators keep links out of the post body and put them here.
  • Company page posts with organizationUrn. Ask Claude to list your pages and it picks the right one.
  • Targeted company posts: limit a page post to countries, industries, job functions, seniorities or company sizes with audience (LinkedIn needs at least 300 targeted members).

Plus the everyday work: schedule posts, edit the text of a live post, reply to comments, and read post analytics and follower counts.

Connect it

  1. Create a Creator OS account and connect LinkedIn. Your company pages come with it.
  2. In Claude: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, paste https://mcp.creatoros.ca/mcp. ChatGPT: developer mode, same URL.
  3. Sign in, pick the workspace, choose read only or read & write.
# Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http creatoros https://mcp.creatoros.ca/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer cos_live_..."

A weekly LinkedIn workflow with Claude

  1. Monday: “Look at my last 20 LinkedIn posts. Which formats and opening lines got the most engagement?”
  2. Draft: “Write 4 posts for this week in that style, one of them a poll.”
  3. Schedule: “Schedule them Tuesday to Friday at 8:30am. Put the newsletter link in the first comment on each.”
  4. Engage: “Every evening, reply to new comments on my posts. Thank people, answer questions, keep it short.”
  5. Report: “Friday: summarise the week against last week.”

Repurposing works well too. Feed Claude a YouTube transcript or a blog post and ask for a LinkedIn version. If you also run X and Threads, one prompt can publish platform-native versions to all three.

Good to know

Profile vs page

Without organizationUrn a post goes to the default target (your profile, or the default organization). Name the page in your prompt and Claude passes the right URN.

Editing and deleting

You can edit the text of a published LinkedIn post and take it down from LinkedIn only, without touching the same post on other networks.

DMs

LinkedIn doesn’t open messaging to third-party apps, so DM replies are not available. Comments are.

FAQ

Will this get my account restricted?

No scraping is involved. Posts go through LinkedIn’s official API, the same way a scheduling tool posts.

Can I manage several company pages?

Yes, every page you admin is available. Agencies can keep each client in its own workspace, see social media management for agencies.

Can I run LinkedIn ads the same way?

Yes, with the Ads add-on. See running ads from your AI agent.

Docs?

LinkedIn API reference and post options.
