Claude Skills for Social Media Marketing: 14 Skills You Can Install Today

14 ready-made Claude Code skills for social media marketing: post everywhere, threads, shortform, scheduling, comment and DM replies, analytics, ads, Skool and SEO.

Creator OS · October 3, 2026 · 4 min read

Claude skills are folders of instructions (a SKILL.md plus any scripts) that teach Claude Code how to do one job well. Claude reads each skill’s one-line description and loads the full playbook only when your request matches it. For social media marketing that means you can say “post this clip everywhere” or “answer today’s DMs” and Claude follows a tested procedure instead of improvising. Creator OS ships 14 of them, installed with one command.

How skills work (30-second version)

Each skill has a short description that says when to use it. Claude keeps only those descriptions in mind. When a request matches, it opens that skill’s SKILL.md, which holds the steps, the commands, the rules and the mistakes to avoid. It’s the difference between an intern guessing and an intern with a checklist. Skills live in .claude/skills/ in your project (or ~/.claude/skills/ for every project).

Install

npx @creatoros/cli@latest init # paste your Creator OS API key
npx @creatoros/cli@latest sync # later: pull new and updated skills

init saves your key, installs the skills, and writes a CLAUDE.md so Claude knows every command. sync never overwrites files you’ve edited; updates land next to them as .new files.

The 14 skills

Publishing

  • post-everywhere: one piece of content (text, image or video) to every connected platform in a single call, with length limits checked first.
  • post-shortform: one vertical video to TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts at once. Upload once, post everywhere.
  • post-longform: YouTube uploads with title, description and tags, and edits to published metadata.
  • post-threads: turns a long idea into a hook-first thread and posts it to Threads and X.
  • schedule-posts: loads a content calendar from a CSV or a folder of media. Creator OS servers publish at the scheduled times, so your machine can be off.

Engagement

  • respond-to-comments: fetches recent comments, drafts on-brand replies, likes the simple positives, hides spam, and escalates refunds, complaints and legal topics to you.
  • respond-to-dms: triages DMs, drafts replies, archives finished threads, escalates sensitive conversations.
  • automations: sets up comment-to-DM funnels on Creator OS servers, and recurring agent runs on your machine.

Measurement

  • analytics: post performance, daily metrics, best time to post and follower growth, turned into a readable report with one recommendation.
  • kairos-dashboard: a local dashboard showing what your agent has been doing.

Paid, community and SEO

  • ads: Meta, Google, TikTok, X and ChatGPT ads: report spend, boost posts that already work, pause losers, change budgets. Money rules built in: confirm spend, create paused.
  • meta-campaign-builder: a full Meta campaign end to end, from objective to a live reach estimate, Meta’s previews, a dry run and your approval. See Meta Ads MCP.
  • skool: answer unanswered posts, announce, approve join requests, report MRR and growth. See Skool MCP.
  • blog: SEO articles on your own WordPress site, with keywords picked from what already performs on your socials.

Writing your own

The best skills come from your own repeated work. If you post the same kind of video every Tuesday, write down the steps once:

---
name: tuesday-tutorial
description: Post the weekly tutorial. Use when Kevin says "post the tutorial"
or drops a file named tutorial-*.mp4.
---
1. Upload the video once with creatoros media:upload.
2. YouTube: long title, chapters from the transcript, pinned comment with the template link.
3. Shorts/Reels/TikTok: the first 45 seconds, captioned, at 6pm.
4. X + Threads: a 5-post thread from the transcript, video link in the last post.
5. Report the post ids.

Put it in .claude/skills/tuesday-tutorial/SKILL.md. The description is what makes Claude pick it, so write it as “use when…” trigger criteria.

Skills vs MCP

MCP gives Claude the tools (post, reply, read analytics). Skills give it the playbook for using them. In Claude Code you can use the CLI skills directly, or connect the MCP server and get the same capabilities as tools; the ads skills also come in as MCP prompts in Claude and ChatGPT. Many people use both.

Want a full agent instead?

Social Agents is our open-source agent harness built on the same skills: it interviews you about your brand, then posts, replies and reports on a schedule. And if you edit video, OPEN VIDEO EDIT is a set of Claude Code skills that turns raw clips into animated shorts.
