Auto Post a Claude Video to 11 Platforms in 2026

Learn how to auto post a Claude video to 11 platforms: exact publish, schedule and analytics steps in Creator OS after Claude renders your clip.

Creator OS · October 22, 2026 · 10 min read

Auto post a Claude video to 11 platforms by uploading the render once to Creator OS, then sending one post with every platform listed, or scheduling it for a set time. Creator OS applies each network’s rules, publishes to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, Reddit, Discord and Slack, and keeps analytics in one place.

How to Auto Post a Claude Video to 11 Platforms (Overview)

Auto posting a Claude video to 11 platforms means four calls: upload the file, create the post, check the result, read analytics. That is the whole job after the clip is rendered.

The hard part of a video is making it. The open source tooling around it is covered in the Claude video editor post. This post starts where that one stops: you have an mp4 and you need it live everywhere without touching 11 upload screens.

Creator OS sits in the middle. You connect each account once, then the CLI, the REST API or the hosted MCP server can publish to all of them from one request. A single post object carries the video and a list of platforms, and Creator OS translates it into what each network expects.

What You Need Before You Publish a Claude-Made Video

Three things must be true or the publish will bounce: the file must fit the network limits, the accounts must be connected, and you need an API key on the workspace you are posting from.

  • A Creator OS account with the platforms connected. One set of socials covers 11 platforms plus Skool on the Creator plan. Check what is live with creatoros accounts:list and creatoros accounts:health.
  • An API key pinned to one workspace. Keys start with cos_live_. A key for one workspace cannot post to another. Keys and the CLI ship with every plan.
  • A video file inside platform limits. Vertical 9:16 clips become Shorts on YouTube and Reels on Instagram automatically. X caps standard accounts at roughly 2 min 20 s of video. Validate with creatoros validate:media --url <url> before you spend a publish on it.

One thing to plan for early: TikTok. Its API requires a privacy level and explicit consent flags on every upload. The simple post form fills those in for you.

Step 1: Export Your Claude Render Into Creator OS

Upload the file once and reuse the returned med_ id on every platform, so you are not pushing the same bytes 11 times.

creatoros media:upload ./launch-clip.mp4

The response contains an id shaped like med_abc123. Keep it. Every post, reply or message in Creator OS can reference that one media id. If your render is already hosted somewhere public, you can pass a URL directly in the media field instead.

If you want a custom frame as the cover, this is the moment to pick it. creatoros posts:create accepts --cover <med_id|url> for a still or --coverAt <ms> for a timestamp inside the video. Instagram turns those into a Reel cover or frame, TikTok into a cover image or offset, and YouTube gets a custom thumbnail on long form uploads.

Step 2: Connect Your 11 Platform Accounts (Including the TikTok API to Post Video)

Connect each account once through the CLI or the web app; after that the same key can publish to all of them.

creatoros accounts:connect instagram
creatoros accounts:connect tiktok

Repeat for YouTube, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, Reddit, Discord and Slack. Each connection shows up in creatoros accounts:list with an account id. For agency plans, one client workspace per set of socials, which keeps a client’s accounts walled off from each other.

Connecting TikTok through the API is a bit different from pasting a password. The account needs a business or creator setup that grants posting rights. In exchange you get controls the app does not offer in bulk:

Setting What it does
privacy_level Who can see the video
allow_comment, allow_duet, allow_stitch Three separate toggles per video
content_preview_confirmed, express_consent_given Required consent flags, auto filled by the simple form
draft Sends the clip to the TikTok Creator Inbox to finish in the app
video_made_with_ai Labels AI generated content
video_cover_image_url Custom cover image

Two limits worth knowing before you plan a series. Creator OS supports replying to comments on Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads, YouTube, LinkedIn and Reddit, but not TikTok, and TikTok has no DMs. Hide and delete comment work on TikTok for Business accounts.

Step 3: Auto Post or Schedule on All Platforms at Once

One posts:create call publishes to every platform you name, or holds it for a scheduled time in a timezone you choose.

creatoros posts:create \
--text "New drop is live. Link in the first comment." \
  --platforms instagram,tiktok,youtube,x,facebook,linkedin,threads,reddit,discord,slack \
  --media med_abc123 \
  --title "Launch clip" \
  --scheduledAt 2026-06-01T16:00:00Z --timezone America/Toronto

Drop the --scheduledAt flag and it publishes now. Add --draft and it stays in Creator OS until you are ready. You can also narrow the post to specific accounts with --accounts when you run more than one account per network.

Two behaviors that save you from silent failures:

  • Missing platforms do not stop the post. Anything not connected comes back in missing_platforms and the rest still go out. You get a partial win instead of an error.
  • Retry is one command. If a network rejects the upload, creatoros posts:retry <postId> tries again without redoing the other platforms.

Need the API instead of the CLI? The advanced form of POST /v1/posts takes platforms as objects with per-platform options, plus a top-level tiktok object for TikTok settings and reddit and discord objects for those networks. The docs at creatoros.ca/docs list the base URL and field shapes.

Step 4: Fix Per-Platform Captions, Aspect Ratios and YouTube Auto Settings

Creator OS applies each platform’s rules, but three things still need your judgment: caption length, the crop, and YouTube metadata.

Check captions before you send. A caption that reads well in a tweet may be cut on Threads (500 characters per post) or on Instagram, where links in captions are not clickable. Run:

creatoros validate:post-length --text "New drop is live..."

Then put your link where it can be clicked. On Instagram, set firstComment and the link lands as the first comment. On YouTube, firstComment is posted and pinned, up to 10,000 characters.

Aspect ratios resolve themselves in most cases. A vertical clip becomes a Short on YouTube and a Reel on Instagram without extra flags. Where you do need control, use these settings:

Goal Setting
YouTube visibility visibility: public, private or unlisted
YouTube playlist playlistId
Kids content flag madeForKids, defaults to false
AI disclosure containsSyntheticMedia on YouTube, madeWithAi on X
Instagram cover instagramThumbnail or thumbOffset
Instagram collaborators Up to 3 public Business or Creator accounts

One honest limit: Instagram’s API cannot attach trending audio. Bake the sound into the file before upload. Stories on Instagram do not take collaborators, location or paid partnership tags, and interactive stickers are app only.

Step 5: Read Cross-Platform Analytics After Publishing

Analytics are the reason to publish from one tool instead of eleven upload screens. One command reads every connected platform.

creatoros analytics:posts --from 2026-06-01 --to 2026-06-07 --sortBy engagement
creatoros analytics:daily --platform instagram
creatoros analytics:best-time --platform tiktok

analytics:posts reads per post performance and can sort by engagement or date. analytics:daily reads account level metrics per day. analytics:best-time reads the hour that has worked best on a platform, which is what you feed into the next scheduled run.

For clicks, use trackable short links on go.creatoros.ca and read click stats with links_stats. That tells you which platform actually sent traffic, not just which one got views.

If you would rather have an agent read and act on this, the hosted MCP server at https://mcp.creatoros.ca/mcp exposes about 160 tools, including get_post_analytics, get_daily_metrics and get_best_time_to_post. Setup steps are at creatoros.ca/docs/mcp.

How to Post a Video on Instagram From YouTube Without Re-Uploading

Reusing a YouTube video on Instagram means pointing Instagram at the hosted file, not exporting and uploading again.

If your clip already lives on YouTube, keep that upload as the source of truth and post the same file to Instagram, TikTok and the rest through Creator OS. The med_ id from Step 1 is the reusable handle: upload once, reference it in every post, and skip the download and re-upload cycle entirely.

When you are re-cutting rather than republishing, the workflow in repurposing a long YouTube video into Shorts produces the vertical clips you then push through the same posts:create call. Shorts, Reels and TikTok all want vertical, and Creator OS treats a vertical short video as a Short on YouTube without you flagging it.

Common Auto Posting Errors and How to Fix Them

Most failed multi-platform publishes come down to four causes, and each has one command or setting that fixes it.

  • Platform missing from the post. The account was never connected, so it comes back in missing_platforms. Run creatoros accounts:connect <platform> and post again.
  • Caption too long for one network. Threads allows 500 characters per post, X has its own cap. Run validate:post-length first, then shorten or split into a thread.
  • Media rejected. Wrong format or over a network’s limit. Run creatoros validate:media --url <url> and re-export.
  • TikTok refused the upload. Almost always a missing consent flag or privacy level. The simple form fills these; the advanced form needs them set explicitly.

Errors from the REST API come back in one shape: { error: { code, message, status } }, so your retry logic reads the same field every time. When a single network fails, use posts:retry rather than reposting, and check posts:get <postId> to see which platforms already went out.

FAQ

How do I auto post a Claude video to 11 platforms at once?

Upload the file with creatoros media:upload to get a med_ id, then run one creatoros posts:create with --media set to that id and every platform listed after --platforms. Creator OS applies each platform’s rules and publishes the rest even if one account is missing.

Can Creator OS post a Claude video to TikTok using the TikTok API?

Yes. TikTok is one of the posting networks, and the simple post form fills in the required privacy level and consent flags automatically. For control over comments, duets, stitches, AI labels and covers, use the advanced form or send draft: true to finish in the TikTok Creator Inbox.

How long does it take to publish one Claude video to all platforms?

Creator OS sends the post to all connected networks from one request, so the waiting is the networks’ own processing time, not your clicking. Each network’s delivery is tracked per platform on the post, and a failed one can be retried on its own with posts:retry.

Can I schedule Claude-made videos instead of posting immediately?

Yes. Add --scheduledAt <ISO> and --timezone <tz> to posts:create and Creator OS holds the video until that moment. You can also save it as a draft with --draft, then list what is queued using creatoros posts:list --status scheduled.

Where do I see analytics for every platform after auto posting?

Use creatoros analytics:posts for per post performance, analytics:daily for daily account metrics per platform, and analytics:best-time for the best hour to post. The same data is available to an AI agent through the MCP tools get_post_analytics and get_daily_metrics.
