If you run eleven platforms alone, the calendar is not the hard part. The hard part is everything stacked on top of it. You plan a video, upload it six different ways, answer comments in four inboxes, and then try to remember what you posted where. A creator OS solo creator workflow fixes the shape of that week so the work stops expanding to fill the time you have.
Here is what one real week looks like inside Creator OS: Monday for planning and publishing, Tuesday and Wednesday for replies, Thursday for numbers, Friday for a second life for the best posts. Everything below runs from the web app or the iOS app. If you want the automation version instead, the hosted MCP server and the CLI do the same jobs from a terminal or an AI app.
MON plan week -> one upload -> post everywhere
TUE inbox: comments across IG, TikTok, YouTube, X ...
WED inbox: DMs (IG, FB, X) + comment-to-DM funnels
THU analytics: per post, daily, followers, best time
FRI republish + cross-post what worked (short links)
What the solo creator workflow actually looks like in Creator OS
Creator OS is one place to publish, schedule, reply and read analytics on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, Reddit, Discord, Slack and WhatsApp, plus Skool communities, a WordPress blog and paid ads as an add-on. The Creator plan is $14.99/month or $59.99/year and covers 11 platforms plus Skool, one account on each. That is exactly the shape a solo creator needs.
The pattern is simple. You do one kind of work per day instead of all of them every day. Publishing is batched. Replies are batched. Analytics is read once and acted on once. Republishing comes last, because by Friday you know which posts earned attention.
The tools you can use in this week
- The web app and the iOS app for planning, posting, replying and analytics.
- The REST API with a workspace-scoped key (cos_live_…) for anything you script.
- The CLI, @creatoros/cli, with commands like posts:create and analytics:daily.
- The hosted MCP server at https://mcp.creatoros.ca/mcp, which plugs into Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf and VS Code.
Monday: planning the week and one upload to eleven platforms
Monday is the only day you touch the calendar. Open the week in Creator OS, drop in the posts you already planned, and upload your media once. Media uploaded through the product is stored and returned as an id that you can reuse on every network in the same post. You are not re-uploading the same file seven times, and you are not resizing it seven times.
Each platform gets its own settings on the same post. A vertical short becomes a YouTube Short automatically. A TikTok post carries its privacy and interaction flags. An Instagram Reel can have a custom cover and a first comment for the link, because Instagram captions have no clickable links. X threads use thread items. Threads posts use a topic tag. You set these once per post, not once per app.
If you prefer the terminal, Monday takes one command per post:
creatoros posts:create --text "Three hooks that made my last Reel work. Link in first comment." \
--platforms instagram,tiktok,youtube,x,linkedin,facebook,threads \
--media med_01HX... \
--scheduledAt 2026-03-16T09:00:00-04:00 --timezone America/New_York \
--title "Three hooks that worked" \
--cover med_01HY... --coverAt 2500
Run creatoros validate:post-length first if a caption feels long. It checks the text against the platform limits before you schedule anything. The full set of per-platform options lives in the post options docs.
One thing to know: networks named in a post that are not connected come back in missing_platforms, and the rest of the post still goes out. So a half-finished setup never blocks the whole week. For the broader publishing pattern, see posting to all social media at once.
Tuesday and Wednesday: replying to comments without app-hopping
Split the reply work in two. Tuesday is public comments. Wednesday is DMs and funnels. Both happen in one inbox inside Creator OS, and you can reply from the iOS app on the train.
Comment replies work on Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads, YouTube and LinkedIn. DMs work on Instagram, Facebook and X, all in the same inbox. You can hide or delete a comment without leaving the app. The CLI covers the same surface:
creatoros inbox:comments --limit 50
creatoros inbox:reply post_01HZ... --accountId acc_01HZ... --message "Glad this helped. Part two lands Friday."
creatoros inbox:private-reply post_01HZ... cmt_01J0... --accountId acc_01HZ... \
--message "Sending you the template now."
Wednesday also handles comment-to-DM keyword funnels, which run on Instagram and Facebook. A keyword in a comment triggers a DM. You set them up once and they keep working while you sleep. The API for automations is create_automation in MCP and automations:create in the CLI, with a keyword list, a match mode and a DM message.
TikTok has a firm boundary worth knowing: comment replies are not supported through the API, though hide and delete work on TikTok for Business accounts, and TikTok has no DMs. So Tuesday on TikTok means reading and moderating, not answering.
Thursday: reading analytics for all eleven platforms in one view
Thursday is a read-only day. Do not post anything you have not already scheduled. Just look.
Creator OS gives you per-post analytics, daily account metrics, follower stats, and best time to post, across every connected platform. That is the whole reason the week works. You are comparing one post’s performance across networks instead of remembering seven different dashboards.
creatoros analytics:posts --from 2026-03-09 --to 2026-03-15 --sortBy engagement --limit 20
creatoros analytics:daily --platform instagram
creatoros accounts:follower-stats --granularity weekly
creatoros analytics:best-time --platform tiktok
Write down three things before you close the laptop: which post had the best engagement, which platform grew, and which time slot outperformed. Those three notes drive Friday. If you want the manual version of this rhythm, the guide to scheduling a month of content pairs with it.
Friday: republishing and cross-posting what worked
Friday is a copy day, not a creation day. Take the winner from Thursday and give it a second life.
Short links help here. Creator OS generates trackable go.creatoros.ca short links with click stats, so you can see whether the repost actually drove traffic instead of guessing. Put the link in the first comment for Instagram, and in the body for X and Threads.
Cross-posting means changing the wrapper, not the idea. The Reel that worked becomes a YouTube Short with a new title and thumbnail, an X thread of the three hooks, a Threads post with a fresh topic tag, and a carousel on LinkedIn. You can update an existing post’s schedule with posts:update, and you can edit the text of a published post on X, Facebook, LinkedIn or YouTube if something needs correcting.
Friday is also the day to clean up: creatoros posts:list --status failed shows anything that needed a retry. One posts:retry usually fixes it.
The time saved: Creator OS versus switching between native apps
It is tempting to claim a number here. Do not trust anyone who does. The honest answer is that the time saved depends on your platform count and how many posts you publish. What we can describe is exactly where the hours go.
| Task | Native apps | Creator OS |
|---|---|---|
| Uploading media | Once per platform, seven times | Once, reused on every platform in the post |
| Per-platform settings | Re-entered in each app | Set on one post |
| Comment replies | Four or more inboxes | One inbox |
| Analytics | One dashboard per network | One view, per post and per day |
| Cross-posting | Manual re-upload | Change the wrapper, reuse the asset |
The savings come from repetition eliminated, not from a magic button. A creator posting twice a week across eleven platforms does the media upload once instead of twenty-two times. A creator answering twenty comments does it in one place instead of four. That is the whole pitch.
If you want to watch this run end to end, the walkthroughs are on the KevBuildsApps YouTube channel.
Where native apps still win (and how to use both)
Native apps are still the right place for some jobs, and pretending otherwise is a good way to lose trust. Instagram Story stickers and interactive elements are app-only. Trending audio has to be baked into the file before upload, because the API cannot attach it on Instagram. TikTok’s draft flag sends your post to the TikTok Creator Inbox so you can finish it with native sounds and effects. X caps standard-account video at roughly two minutes twenty seconds, so long video belongs on YouTube anyway.
So use both. Creator OS for the scheduled, text-heavy, multi-platform work. Native apps for the last mile where the platform only lets you finish in the app. If you edit video, the open-source OPEN VIDEO EDIT skills turn a talking head clip into an animated short, and there is a launch video for that workflow.
How this differs from choosing an OS Creator
This week is a use case, not a setup guide. If you are still deciding what to connect first, which plan fits, and how the pieces fit together, the post on OS Creator covers that. Read that one when you are configuring. Read this one when you are running.
The difference matters. Setup is a one-time cost. The weekly loop is what you do for years, and it is the part that decides whether solo creator life is sustainable.
Get started: set up your own eleven-platform week
Start with the Creator plan at $14.99/month or $59.99/year for 11 platforms plus Skool, one account on each. API keys, the MCP server, the CLI and the agent skills are included on every plan, so the whole workflow above is available from day one.
- Sign up at creatoros.ca/sign-up and pick the Creator plan.
- Connect your eleven socials and Skool if you have a community.
- Run
creatoros accounts:healthto confirm every connection works. - Schedule Monday’s posts with one upload and the per-platform options you need.
- Read the CLI docs if you want the terminal path, or connect the MCP server to your AI app.
Then run the week once. Monday publish, Tuesday comments, Wednesday DMs, Thursday numbers, Friday recycle. If the loop feels lighter by Friday, you have your workflow.
